Here’s my #3 contribution (and possibly the most deadly) to add to Ms. StayPuft’s “That Brief Moment You Think You’re Gonna Die When:” series.

Send us your ideas to: moment@laguardiaworld.com

…and we’ll most likely probably post them eventually soon!

We received responses in regards this new thing we’re doing and most of them were positive, but… NO SUGGESTIONS! Come on people… I’m sure a few of you have had some near death experiences worth sharing! SO! Holla atcha homies!

This week La Guardia World and I would like to present:

(drum roll please… ok stop. Seriously stop…. enough with the drums, La Guardia…. STOP IT!… (awkward smile)…)

NUMBA DEUCE!! (Not to be confused with Snoop Dogg’s poopies)

Starting today, I’m trying out something new and you can help! La Guardia and I thought it would be a good idea to start a collection of thoughts about little moments in life that for a split second hurl you into the lap of death. Like for example, today we’re starting with number one:

You know? Moments like that when you are certain that for that split second Death was breathing it’s hot, damp breathe down your neck. IT. COULD OF. HAPPENED!!! Now, so you can know you are not alone, we’re sharing every Friday (or until I run out of ideas/suggestions) these little precious moments…

Got an idea? Message us here OR you can find the both of us on The Book of Faces and leave your suggestions/ideas on our individual pages:

SO! I hope you enjoy it and remember! It can happen… ANY. TIME!

What’s up y’all?

What a time this month has been. I’ve seen a few people around me pass from this life to the next. Death always makes me thankful for what I have and encourages me to stay focused on the road ahead. I’m also left re-evaluating my priorities and analyzing my fears. Death comes so swift and unexpected, especially in the case of my past mentor and cousin-in-law. Death is almost always seen as “too soon” for the ones left behind.

When my mentor passed I had the opportunity to attend his funeral and see / hear testimonies of people positively affected by his existence. I was speechless. He had lived such a selfless life…a life that many would consider inconvenient. The result was worth more than any selfish aspiration.

Legacy is a powerful word. I don’t want to live or die in regret. I want to appreciate each moment, but understand that there’s a bigger picture that guides my life.

What about you? What have you learned from death?

what are your #DeathLessons?

So back in June, La Guardia asked me to join him on his caped crusade on LGW. Seven months and 84 (used to be 86….) fans later I find myself with a new look, new name, new… helmet… and I have you guys to thank. You could have nipped it in the butt from the get go. You could have sent LG buckets and buckets of hate mail for adding me to his website with my off the wall shenanigans, but NO! You kept me! And oddly enough every Friday, y’all come back! When I announced ShortBus was no more, YOU RIOTED!! Some even deleted me! People called to ask, “WHY?!”…..

……….

………….???

WHAT’S WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE????

But anywho… from the bottom of my heart and the deep, deep, deep, deeeeep crazy recesses of my mind I’d like to dedicate to you a song (not written by myself) that embodies the true meaning of friendship as a thank you. I love you guys! You’re awesome! Demented… but awesome!

Ms. StayPuft Friday.

Um.

Yeah.

After a grueling selection process, tens of thousands of resumes, hundreds of interviews, and inappropriate activity…America finally chose a replacement for ShortBus. We’ve tallied, lost, and re-tallied the votes.

Drum roll please…

For real…just do it.
